NEW: Tax-free shopping at Carrefour
Save money! As a UK resident you are now eligible to shop tax-free in the European Union and you can save money on VAT on your purchases (minimum spend required in France is €100.01). A variety of goods qualify, including cosmetics, jewellery, technology, food and drink items.
Just show your passport and ask for tax free when paying at the till, you will be asked to go to Carrefour information desk to proceed the tax refund form. Keep your tax-free forms and receipts as you travel back with Le Shuttle, then pop in to our Calais Terminal building to validate your tax refund form using an automatic kiosk to claim your tax refund. (Our tax refund area is clearly signposted in the passenger building).
